A database design report (map) can be obtained as a separate service, however it is always included in the design report. It clearly defines the data elements needed for the new procedure- including size, type, and interrelationships. It organizes the elements into logical groups based on how the information will be used. Data groups and relationships are then established based on these parameters. The referential integrity of the individual elements of data is recognized and charted. The flow of the information in and out of the process is illustrated.
The final product is a clear concise blueprint of all data used, and how each piece works with the whole. This provides a foundation for any software implementation and report structuring; all in an easily readable format.
