Featuring an integral infrared solid-state laser scanner, the Intermec 9444 Trakker Scanner also incorporates the attributes of the lightweight and portable 9440 Transaction Manger.
The built-in laser scanner may be operated in any positionn by either the left or right hand. Trigger bottons on each side of the unit are used to initiate laser scanning. Aiming the 9444's laser is easy with the visible spotter beam. The laser beam is controlled by the microcomputer for enhanced performance and poser savings.
Intermec's 9440 Scanner accepts input from the integral scanner or a digital wand. If required for special operations, an external hand-held laser scanner (such as the 1500 or 1620) may also be used. ANy of these devices may be connected to the 9444, but may not be used simultaneously.
Most 9440 accessories work with the 9444. compatible options included: 750 mA Ni-Cad battery, communications cables, communications docs, battery chargers, RAM and applications EPROM options.
