Be free from the constraints of a hardwired system. The bi-directional 9183 repeater extends the range of the Intermec 900 MHz RF spread spectrum network without the need for cabling.
It receives data from a transmitter (9181 base radio unit, or portable device) and rebroadcasts it to the network. The 9183 is designed to operate within rugged industrial environments.
Intermec's 900 MHz RF spread spectrum network does not require a FCC or DOC site license.
