This low cost CROSSBAR controller handles bi-directional communications between an ASCII host computer and up to 32 multi-drop Intermec readers or printers. The controller's buffering capability allows the host computer to perform other tasks in addition to serving the data collection network.
The 9154 provides more than 50K of battery-backed CMOS RAM to store user data.
