The JANUS 2050 RF vehicle-mount data collection computer is ideal for tough and demanding warehouse and inventory control applications. The 2.4 GHz version of the 2050 works with our 2.4 GHz access point-based systems, which act as a bridge between an Ethernet environment and a wireless network.
Access points allow you to roam from location to location without losing contact to an active software application. 900 MHz spread spectrum RF is also available with the 2050, which provides maximum coverage and can easily be added to existing Intermec RF systems.
The JANUS 2050 is fully PC-AT compatible with a 386SXL microprocessor and Microsoft® DOS 6.2, making it easy to program using many off-the-shelf standard PC-based programs. It also features Intermec's IRL®, a 54-key alphanumeric keypad, and a full 25-line by 80-character CGA display. It is compatible with Intermec laser scanners. IBM 5250 and 3270 terminal emulation options are available
