The controller features standard upline connectivity between Ethernet and IBM networks (Token Ring, Twinax, Coax, and SDLC) and up to 128 downline devices. These can be any mixture of Intermec portable (2.4 GHz RF and 900 MHz RF) and CrossBarŽ stationary terminals.
The Model 200 provides powerful applications such as terminal emulation, screen mapping, and program-to-program communications. By coordinating the flow of data between multiple upline hosts and applications, the Model 200 ensures delivery of customer data when and where it is needed.
Direct TCP/IP socket connections between the Model 200 and host/server applications simplify peer-to-peer/client-server applications.
With its simple and elegant graphical user interface (GUI) the Model 200 is a snap to operate with minimal training. Plus, you can start with the capacity you need today and add devices as the network grows.
