Intermec medallion maintenance services provide a guaranteed response or turnaround time; as well as priority service. There are six different Medallion Service arrangements to suit customer needs. These are divided into two main categories: On-site support and express depot service.

On Site Support is essential for printers, RF systems and networks. This is designed to insure minimal impact to your operation, and maximum system uptime.

Platinum Plus
Guaranteed 4 working hour response time
Personal on-site service visits to identify and eliminate potential problems
Preventive maintenance visits
On-site product usage and problem resolution by a Customer Service Representative
On-site installation of engineering dates

Platinum
All the same benefits as the Platinum Plus with guaranteed a one business day response time.

Gold
All the same benefits as the Platinum Plus with a guaranteed two business day response time.


Express Depot Service allows you to choose the plan best for your needs; including different plans for different components. If you have a special support need a plan can be tailored to your needs.

Silver Plus
Once the Intermec Service Coordinator is contacted, and the failure is verified, arrangements are made for an exchange unit to be shipped. The unit is shipped via express freight the same day. The packaging is reusable, and includes a return express freight airbill for the non-working unit.

Silver
Units are repaired or replaced in one business day after receipt at the service center. Your repaired or replaced unit is returned using an equal or better shipping method as was used to send the units.

Bronze
The units are repaired or exchanged within two business days after receipt. They are then shipped back using surface freight.
